Folk Roots of Britain and Ireland

Real World Records are revisiting our album Anian as part of their Folk Roots of Britain and Ireland campaign.

It’s the first of a series where they’ll investigate some of the connections, be they musically, stylistically or geographically between artists on the label and to look a little more closely at some of the inspirations behind the songs.

You can read more about the campaign here – oh, and there’s a discount code for the CD and LP until 29 January!

Here’s Lisa’s track by track explanation of the tracks on the album

London show – December 8th, Cadogan Hall

We’re really looking forward to playing the majestic Cadogan Hall, it’s a special double headliner show with the brilliant Moulettes, and support from Ayanna Witter Johnson

The last time we were there was when Lisa was singing with Gruff Rhys, which was a great night, this promises to be something special too!
